Privacy
The short version: Full Bench stores your email, your match results and your battle logs with every player's name taken out. There are no ads and no tracking, and nothing is sold or shared. The only counting is plain daily totals, like how many people opened the home page. You can delete your account and your data at any time.

What's stored when you make an account
- Your email address, used to sign in and to send a link to confirm it when you sign up, and a password reset link if you ask for one. A sign-up that's never confirmed is deleted after a day.
- Your password, scrambled. Only a one-way hash is kept, never the password itself.
- When the account was made.
- Version names you give your matches on My stats, if you name any. Only you see them.
What the desktop app uploads
Only once you sign in. The app works without an account, and none of your matches leave your computer until you do. (Without an account it only asks fullbench.gg whether there's a newer version.)
- Each match: the result, both decks, the cards that were played, turns, prizes, mulligans, who went first, and when it was played.
- The battle log, with both player names replaced by "PlayerA" and "PlayerB" before it's sent. Nobody's in-game name, yours or your opponent's, is ever uploaded. The log is kept so you can read your games back on the website.
- For each computer you sign in on: the computer's name (so you can tell them apart on your Account page), when it signed in, when it last synced, and which version of the app it runs.
Who can see it
- Your matches and logs: only you, when signed in. That includes the replay of each match, which is built from its log.
- A replay you share: anyone with its link. You choose to share each one, it shows no player names (you appear as "Player"), and "Stop sharing" takes the link down for good. Shared replays are kept out of search engines.
- Global stats and deck pages: everyone. These combine every account's games into totals by deck, like win rates and meta share. They never show who played a game.
- The person who runs Full Bench can see the list of accounts, with their email and how many matches each has, to keep the site running and spot problems. That's it: nothing is sold, shared or used for ads.
Cookies and logs
- One cookie, to keep you signed in on the website. No tracking or advertising cookies.
- Light or dark mode: if you use the switch in the header, your choice is saved in your own browser so the next page opens the same way. It never reaches the server.
- Server logs record the internet address of each visit, for fixing problems and stopping abuse. They're overwritten as new ones come in, so they're only kept for a short time.
- Downloads of the app are counted per day. Nothing about who downloaded is kept.
- Visits to the home and download pages are counted the same way: one number per page per day. Nothing about who visited is kept, and there's no cookie or script for it.
Other services involved
- Vultr hosts the server.
- Pokémon images on the site are loaded from PokeAPI's public image library on GitHub, so GitHub sees your browser ask for them.
- Emails (confirming a new account, and password resets) are sent through Brevo, an email delivery service.
- Deck names and card pictures come from Limitless: public tournament results, and its card database for a card no tournament list runs, looked up by the card's name. The pictures are copied to this server and shown from here, so your browser never contacts Limitless, and nothing about you is sent to them.
- The Support link goes to Ko-fi, which has its own privacy policy.
Getting a copy of your data
Download every game on your account, with its battle log, from the Account page. It's built when you ask for it and isn't kept anywhere.
Deleting your data
- Your account: on the Account page. Your email, password, match history and battle logs are removed straight away. If the server has backups at the time, they drop out of those as the backups are replaced.
- What stays: the results of your games keep counting in global stats, anonymously: which decks played, who won, the cards seen, and when. Nothing links them to you or to any email, and nobody can sign in to them. They stay because otherwise deleting an account would change the stats everyone relies on, or let someone delete and upload the same games again to count them twice.
- Data on your computer: the app keeps its own copy in
your user folder, in
ptcgl_matches.dband theptcgl_logsfolder, plussettings.jsonnext to the app. Delete those to remove it.
